The Nairn Literary Institute was formed in 1875 by Doctor Grigor to stimulate interest in local history, archaeology & literature. 

Since then the Institute has arranged a series of talks during the winter months on these topics, as well as various outings at other times of the year.

Membership subscription is £15 for the 2010-2011 Season. Non-members are welcome to attend the talks on an ad-hoc basis of £3 per talk.

 
Talks are held in St Ninians Church Hall, Queen Street, Nairn, IV12 4AA at 7.30pm Friday evenings.
