ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025 / 2026

Dava Room, Nairn Community Centre

7.00 for 7.30 p.m.

The AGM of the Nairn Literary Institute will be held on Monday 23rd March 2026 at 7.30 p.m. in the Dava Room, Nairn Community Centre.   All members and interested non-members are cordially invited to attend; refreshments will be provided from 7.00 p.m. Full notification and relevant documents will be sent out to all members via email prior to the meeting.

The Agenda will include:

• President's Annual Report
• Treasurer's Report & Accounts
• 150th Anniversary Volume - Update
• Proposals for 150th Anniversary Events
• Boosting Membership
• Committee 2026 / Confirmation of Office Bearers
• AOB

 Any votes conducted at the AGM will be open only to current members, although non-members will be invited to speak at the meeting at the discretion of the President.

New Committee members will also be essential to the continued existence of the Institute, so members are urged to consider joining the Committee at this AGM.  The Secretary will be stepping down after eight years, and finding a new Secretary is vital to maintaining the tradition of the Nairn Literary Instsitute in our town.  If you would like to join us, please e-mail Pauline Fraser (Secretary) at info@nairnliterary.org.uk.  

We would also urge any non-members who attend our lectures on a regular basis to consider joining the NLI; there will be an opportunity to do so at this meeting.
